About Us
ZaiGeZaiGu (载歌在谷) is a nonprofit community. Most of its contributors are Chinese professionals in Silicon Valley tech. ZaiGeZaiGu wants to enrich the cultural life of the Chinese community in Silicon Valley and to share Chinese culture. Arts events are our main activity, for example the ZaiGeZaiGu Lunar New Year Gala.

Our History
ZaiGeZaiGu started in 2015 as the Lunar New Year Gala inside Google, and the first Gala was a great success. In 2017, ZaiGeZaiGu left Google and opened to the whole Bay Area. Over the years, the ZaiGeZaiGu Gala has become a major event that thousands of people look forward to.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, ZaiGeZaiGu started many groups that held events every week. We call these groups the Yunji clubs. Many of the clubs started online, and they now also meet in person. We hope to see you there!
How We Are Organized
ZaiGeZaiGu enriches the cultural life of Bay Area Chinese people. It also gives contributors from many backgrounds a real place to practice their skills and grow. Under the oversight of the Board, ZaiGeZaiGu has several teams. Volunteers make up all of the teams and groups.
Gala and Garden Party Teams
Large events such as the ZaiGeZaiGu Lunar New Year Gala and the ZaiGeZaiGu Garden Party each have their own planning and operations team. Each team has groups for promotion, programs, technology, audience experience, sponsorship and more. These events usually happen once a year and take months to prepare.

Yunji Club Teams
ZaiGeZaiGu also holds other events every few weeks. We call them the Yunji events, from a Chinese phrase that means “good friends gather like clouds”. The events belong to different clubs, such as Sports & Games and Career Talks. Each club has its own planning group, called the program team.
Besides the program teams, four support teams handle daily work: internal relations, external relations, operations and content creation. When there is a special need, the support teams form committees, for example the contributor committee, the budget committee and the food map committee.
